Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.

IABCA Dog Show

Well after giving Wowsa a good solid year of rest, I decided to give the show ring another whirl with the boy.  The IABCA (International All Breed Canine Association) show in Hutchinson, MN was a perfect venue. One of my concerns about entering Wowsa into an AKC show was him having a flare up of his old injury and then end up breaking a Major when he couldn't compete. Well, Wowsa has been just great this past year only showing only a little irritation on the injury site when he scratches at his neck, but he doesn't do it often.
So off we went to Hutchinson. Wowsa was entered into four shows, he received V1 ratings from all four judges. Wowsa went on to compete in the Working Group and placed 3rd twice!! I was very proud of him, it was a large group, his class had many fine representatives of the working breeds: Doberman, Great Dane, Rottweiler, Dogue du Bordeaux, Bull Mastiff, Greater Swiss Mountain Dog,  were some of the breeds that come to mind.
